"Breastfeeding is Important to Me" Campaign / Campaña "Amamantar es Importante para Mi"
The Binational Breastfeeding Coalition (BBC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) have teamed up to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week and Breastfeeding Awareness Month with the Breastfeeding is Important to Me Campaign.
The campaign consists of short videos published daily throughout the month of August 2020 on BBC’s and AHA’s social media channels. The videos feature statements from lactation professionals, mothers, and breastfeeding supporters. The statements inform why breastfeeding is so important for mothers and babies and, in tandem with the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action, also emphasize the link between breastfeeding and the environment.
The campaign also includes an official Facebook photo frame. Everyone is encouraged to use it on their profiles during the whole month of August.
INSTRUCTIONS
Hover over your Facebook Profile Photo and click on “Update”
Select the “Add Frame” function
Search for the name of the respective Profile Frame you would like to use (click on the photos below to see the names)
Once you’ve selected the frame and made any adjustments, click on “Use as Profile Picture”

La Coalición Binacional de la Lactancia (BBC por sus siglas en inglés) y la Asociación Americana del Corazón (AHA por sus siglas en inglés) se han unido para llevar acabo la campaña Amamantar es Importante para Mi por motivo de la Semana Mundial de la Lactancia Materna y el Mes de la Concientización de la Lactancia Materna.
La campaña consiste de videos cortos publicados diariamente durante el mes de agosto 2020 en las redes sociales de BBC y AHA. Los videos exponen declaraciones hechas por autoridades en lactancia materna, madres, y simpatizantes de la lactancia. Sus aportaciones dejan saber porque es tan importante amamantar para las madres y los bebés, y junto con la “World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action”, también enfatizan la relación entre amamantar y el medio ambiente.
La campaña también incluye un marco (efecto de cámara) oficial de Facebook. Se invita a que todos lo utilicen en sus perfiles durante la duración del mes de agosto.
INSTRUCCIONES
Pon el cursor sobre tu foto del perfil de Facebook y haz clic en “Actualizar”
Selecciona la función “Agregar Marco”
Busca el marco ingresando el nombre del marco que quieras usar (haz clic en las fotos de arriba para verlos)
Una vez que hayas seleccionado el marco, haz clic en “Usar como foto del perfil”
