Binational Breastfeeding Coalition

Our purpose is to improve the health of the people living on the El Paso/Juárez border and the surrounding communities by working vigorously and collaboratively to protect and promote breastfeeding as the natural and expected means of feeding human infants.

Get Involved

The Binational Breastfeeding Coalition (BBC) is a non-profit association of health professionals and lactation advocates formed in 2013 to promote and support breastfeeding through education and outreach to the El Paso/Juárez border region and its surrounding communities. The BBC provides timely and accurate breastfeeding information to healthcare professionals through conferences, training sessions, educational materials and other outreach efforts. We offer our services to hospitals, medical offices (pediatric, family practice and OB), county health departments, WIC sites, Baby Cafes and other organizations and individuals that provide lactation services. We have many different opportunities throughout the year that require volunteers. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Support Breastfeeding in Our Region

The Binational Breastfeeding Coalition Inc. is primarily funded through small grants and donations from individuals, businesses and organizations. In our efforts to facilitate our mission to improve the health of El Paso/Juárez border residents by working collaboratively to protect, promote and support breastfeeding – funding is of prime importance to implement programs that promote awareness of the importance of breastfeeding to every segment of our community, including healthcare professionals, government officials, private sector businesses and individual citizens.

The Binational Breastfeeding Coalition relies on donations from generous donors like yourself to continue in its efforts to help advance breastfeeding through education, outreach and advocacy in the El Paso, Texas - Ciudad Juárez, Mexico border region. Because the Binational Breastfeeding Coalition is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, your donation is deductible from your income taxes to the fullest extent allowable by law.
